Leo, let's discuss the natural beauty of Estonia and Finland. What comes to mind when you think of Estonia's landscape?
Primarily forests, and relatively flat terrain. Its highest point is hardly a mountain.
The flatness has its own charm. Estonia also boasts beautiful coastlines and islands, dotted with charming wooden houses.
Finland, however, is renowned for its thousands of lakes. Its lake district is unparalleled.
While Finland excels with lakes, Estonia has unique bogs and wetlands, interesting ecosystems with distinctive flora.
Finland also has bogs, but our defining feature is the Northern Lights – the Aurora Borealis dancing over frozen lakes.
The Northern Lights are spectacular. But Estonia offers dark skies ideal for stargazing, a quieter form of celestial beauty.
Stargazing is enjoyable, but the Aurora is truly breathtaking. And then there's Lapland, a winter wonderland.
Lapland is undeniably magical, but its cold climate isn't for everyone. Estonia has a milder climate.
True, but Finland offers the invigorating experience of its traditional saunas, perfectly complemented by a plunge into a freezing lake.
Saunas are wonderful, but Estonia’s unique "chill" factor is the Singing Revolution – a revolution fought through song.
A singing revolution is certainly unique.
Have you seen Estonian forests in autumn? The vibrant colors are incredible.
Autumn colors are beautiful, but the Finnish archipelago in summer, with its numerous islands and clear waters, is equally stunning.
Both countries possess unique natural beauty. It's a matter of personal preference.
For me, it's Finland's lakes and the Northern Lights. For you, it's Estonia's forests. But Estonia is undeniably flat.
